Junior Political Coordinator Internship 

The Republican Party of San Diego County is seeking interns for 2024
Interns will have an opportunity to help with organizing efforts across the county.
Students will gain valuable experience with field operations, special events planning, and execution, as well as, other campaign activities for the Party.
Responsibilities will include research and writing, special events coordination, social media communications, and database/office management.​


Why should I become an Intern/ Jr. Political Coordinator?

Interning with the Republican Party of San Diego County as a Junior Political Coordinator is an excellent way to get involved and have your voice heard in your community. Working alongside the full-time staff that is dedicated to electing Republicans to every level of office.
You will get a chance to not only see the behind-the-scene operations of elections, but you'll get a chance to actually be a part of it. 

If you're looking to expand your skills with public speaking, communication, data entry, and persuasion skills, or expand your knowledge of the political process in San Diego County, this is the program for you.


What is an Intern/ Jr. Political Coordinator?

At the Republican Party of San Diego County, we are seeking highly motivated and passionate individuals who are interested in getting an up-close look at politics in San Diego.
A Jr. Political Coordinator is tasked with assisting in the day-to-day operations at our party headquarters along with assisting the full-time staff at events and meetings.
Anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of government and our electoral system should consider joining our team. 


What is expected from me as an Intern/ Jr. Political Coordinator?

An open mind and an open schedule! Realistically, we understand that students usually don't have an "open" schedule, but we ask that you be prepared to dedicate at least 6 hours a week to assisting our staff in our new Mission Valley office or at events around the County. Internships are based on a semester basis. You may continue your internship longer if you wish.
