Executive Board & Committee Chairs

Tony Krvaric, Chairman*

Born and raised in Sweden, Tony Krvaric was inspired by President Ronald Reagan to come to America. Though only a youth, he vowed to one day become an American and pursue his American Dream. The first step was to start his own business, and in 1992 when the opportunity presented itself, he moved to San Diego.

After becoming a naturalized citizen in June of 2003, he decided to become politically involved. Having seen, first hand, the devastating effects of socialism in Sweden and the rest of Europe, he was determined to stand up for the traditional, conservative values that helped make America great.

Today Tony works as a full-service financial consultant for individuals and families who share his values - helping them grow, preserve and distribute their wealth. He lives in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego with his wife and four children.

Michael McSweeney
, First Vice Chairman*

Vice Chairman Michael McSweeney heads up McSweeney & Associates, a highly successful general contracting and residential renovation firm with projects across San Diego County. Having been an active member of the San Diego community for over a decade, Mike has built numerous affiliations within both the local business and political arenas, including the San Diego Lincoln Club and Taxpayers Association.

After two successful terms as President of the San Diego County Young Republicans (SDCYRs), Mike was elected Administrative VP of the California Young Republicans in January 1997, later serving as Regional Vice-Chairman of the YRNF (national organization). In both 1996 and 2000, Mike was elected to the California Republican Party Platform Committee. He is a past Vice President of the San Diego Chapter of the California Republican League; an associate member of the Republican Women's Federated; past board member, Republican Businesswomen of San Diego; elected member of San Diego County Republican Party Central Committee-76th Assembly District, where in 1998 he ran in the Republican primary; and a former candidate for the San Diego Unified School Board. Prior to this, Mike served for seven years as a member and eventual President of the Board of Developmental Services Continuum (DSC), a non-profit organization providing residential care for developmentally disabled adults.

Warene Wall
, Second Vice Chairman*

Warene Wall is Second Vice Chair of the Republican Party of San Diego County and was recently presented the Woman of the Year award. She is State Chair of the California Volunteer Network and San Diego County Chair of the Special Election Campaign Team for the California Republican Party.

Warene is also a member of the Republican Party of San Diego County Chairman's Circle; Fairbanks Republican Women Federated (FRWF); and is the Founder/Honorary Chair of the San Diego Chapter of the California Black Republican Council. As an active member of these organizations, her efforts to build outreach programs to ethnic communities have resulted in thousands of votes for Republican candidates across San Diego County.

Warene is the former Regional Volunteer Chair for San Diego and Imperial Counties for Bill Jones for U.S. Senate and Bill Simon for Governor. In August 2004, she chaired the Host Committee for the CRP Convention and County Chairmen's Association Retreat in San Diego.

She has been active in federal, state, county, and local politics for many years.

In 1999, she retired from a 40-year career in telecommunications.

She has served on many non-profit boards such as The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego, where she held numerous committee posts and chaired fundraisers.

Rosen has served as Secretary of the Republican Party of San Diego County since May 2007.  He also functions as the County Party's communications task force chairman, and he is responsible for creating, editing, and transmitting the twice-monthly Republican Political Report.  Michael also serves as the San Diego chapter leader of the Republican Jewish Coalition, and he sits on the government affairs board of the San Diego Jewish Community Relations Council.
